Very good food!

Great food, we were very satisfied. Due to the current Corona situation, unfortunately only delivery service or as self-collection. But that's not a problem and it went smoothly.

A friendly team and an attractive range of dishes. It's good that the living room atmosphere has been preserved. Hopefully this can be experienced again soon!

After the Bar Pivo was closed (it almost looked like an animal shelter with the numerous dogs of the employees, and a very interesting mix of guests), it was almost my favorite bar, although not quite as comfortably furnished as my living room in Berlin-Prenzlauerberg (living room bar, Helmholtzplatz), but very good Pinot Gris and decent cuisine (even if it is partly - how should I put it - esoteric for me?). Also very good breakfast variations.

Nice location, hip and with a wide range of food and drinks, delicious too. In terms of price, it also fits. Well, I can only recommend it.

Not eaten so well for a long time, short waiting time. Super nice atmosphere, everyone very friendly, warm and welcoming. I would love to come back.

Waited two hours for breakfast. Rate the current visit. Unfortunately not what it was anymore. The current concept, in which you can order online as well as on site, unfortunately does not work at all. Too few employees and also overwhelmed (not even when the tables / seating options are fully used). What a shame, it was good. Not any longer longer .

The food was delicious, that's why I'm giving it a star. Otherwise, today we have about. Waited 1 hour for our food after we first had to draw the wait staff's attention to missing menus. The price-performance ratio has definitely been postponed. The portions are relatively small. One couple has already left because of the long waiting times, another group asked when their drinks will be coming - the waitress replied: Sorry. Sorry for the star.

Unfortunately, the waiting time was far too long (2 hours). The operator should hire more staff as soon as possible, otherwise visits are no longer possible here. Milkshake and smoothie are not recommended and at 4.80 completely overpriced. Despite the waiting time, there were no drinks on the house. The food was just fine.

Simple ambience, food ok. The staff could be a bit friendlier and not look so stressed out.

We celebrated the start of school this year at the Hotel Seeblick and are completely satisfied! The food is really great and the people very friendly, relaxed and approachable. I actually liked it there, but the burgers weren't judged on the prize

Very friendly and high-quality dishes with seasonal and regional reference, which are very lovingly prepared. Vegans and vegetarians will definitely get their money's worth here.

Great food and friendly service. In Connewitz certainly one of the top addresses for drinks and good solid food. Especially for brunch / breakfast, I don't know any better address in Leipzig and the surrounding area.

Creative dishes for every taste, including vegan options. The breakfast is particularly great and the prices are perfectly reasonable. Would always come back!

Super shop, Mark, the boss is top along with his other staff. The food was excellent. Highly recommended.

We had high hopes but we're disappointed. Online says they open at 9am. On their door says they open at 9am. We arrive at 915am and they said they don't open until 10am. To me, it felt like they just didn't feel like opening until then. There were 5 staff members there, 3 of them were drawing on the windows. Apparently a group effort. The other two drinking coffee and running around. So we sat and watched them draw on the windows for 45 minutes. Ordered "The California" which came with two big pancakes. It came with a very small, tablespoon size bowl of syrup. So we immediately asked the waitress for more syrup. She said it would be between 1-2 euros for more!?!? Are you kidding me??? For syrup, for pancakes we ordered? And is it 1 or 2 euros for a tablespoon of syrup?? .Out of principle we said no. RIDICULOUS!!! So that ruined the meal for us as the pancakes were EXTREMELY dry. She never came to check on us, but stood at the counter blowing her nose and NOT WASHINH HER HANDS (we are in COVID times right?) and chatting with the chef. We were the only two people in the restaurant. Restaurant is also very old and dusty. My husband called it vintage because of the look and smell. I thought that was a generous comparison. IT'S JUST DIRTY. AVOID!!!!!!

Mediocre burger and slow service.

Nice cozy ambience in itself. It is a pub / bar / restaurant. You can have breakfast, drink coffee / tea / juice / soda and even have a pretty good selection of cocktails.

Both food and drinks are unfotunately just average... there are better places on that street...

Very friendly stuff, okay food and drinks, that's why 3 stars... everything else, especially smell, really bad... unfortunately.

Nice bar for drink and food

We use this at least once a year during WGT as a breakfast-/hangover-recovery-place, and it is really the best! Never managed to finish a burger, though, since they're quite large!

Nicely designed palace

A bit pricey but the food is always good, so it's pretty hard to get a seat at peak times. Very cozy.

A great place to eat with friends, drink a beer, watch football. Nice staff, bee good food.

Customer service at its worst- Jule Kay don't work in hospitality! First of all the waitress Jule Kay was more busy with having an argument with her colleague right beside our table rather than paying attention to us. Awkward! Secondly my wife's salad was served with what appeared to be a pubic hair. The Jule Kay waitress did not apologise to us at all and had nothing better to do than suggesting we placed it there so we would not have to pay for it. We left although we were really looking forward to a peaceful lunch with our baby boy. We will never be back and kindly suggest the owner does not let rude kids run his business......If you like hygiene and good service avoid Hotel Seeblick at all costs!

I live near this café and end up there from time to time when I have to meet someone out. It's admittedly a really nice place to have a beer, but the food I had the last time I was there convinced me to finally write a review. I'll recap my past three experiences. (Background: I am a mild-mannered person and am ALWAYS polite to the people who handle my food, for obvious reasons.) 1. Ordered minestrone. €7. The vegetables were almost raw and the broth was just hot water with no flavor, although it did have a thick layer of orange oil floating on it. My guess is that they took their pasta salad, poured boiling water over it, and served it to me. 2. Ordered pancakes. €8. They were still raw batter inside. Not just a bit moist -- actually gross raw batter. 3. Ordered a lox bagel sandwich (salmon, cream cheese, vegetables). €7. Asked them to please give me extra cream cheese and charge me for it. (I really like cream cheese.) Waiter says that's okay, writes it down. The bagel comes and there's not much cream cheese on it. I politely ask the waiter whether the extra was forgotten, and he says: "Es wurde nicht vergessen. Es wurde nicht umgesetz." ("It wasn't forgotten. They didn't do it.") He explains to me that the kitchen refused to add cream cheese because it would prevent the bagel sandwich from standing up. I say that's fine, but can I have some in a little cup on the side or something (what I'd expected anyway)? That works out and the bagel is fine. 1./2./3. The wait staff has been really nice, but service is very, very slow. Like, 30 minutes for a drink order slow. I think they're chronically understaffed. So, that's it: Bad food twice, denied extra cream cheese once for a weird reason. Nice wait staff, slow service, not the staff's fault. Okay-ish prices. Pretty place. I don't mind going there for a drink, but to me, this place will forever be Hotel Shitblick.
